Amera Trail is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near St. Cloud, FL

Outsides Sales Rep
In this role, you will:
  • Strong customer service mentality. 
  • Conduct a minimum of 4 professional sales presentations or demonstrations of company products and services per week while onsite at customer locations.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue.
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within the client base.
  • Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company positively.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, over price.
  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
  • Conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts as needed.
  • Establish front-line assessment of market conditions and advise management and marketing staff of findings.
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other industry research.
  • May perform other duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications we are looking for:
  • Marine experience.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience.
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management preferred. 
  • Demonstrated success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision-makers.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Skills you will need:
  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance.
  • Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • High energy with a positive attitude, integrity, and strong work ethic.
  • Willing to face complex issues head-on and work through challenges to build a stronger organization.
  • Be willing to work one week on the production line to deeply learn about the product. 
What you can expect as an Outside Sales Representative:
Candidates must reside within the Greater Central Florida Region. This position requires frequent travel to cover the assigned territory, often includes several hours of driving per day, and requires the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Our Sales Team works a full week, Monday through Friday with some entertainment and shows on nights and weekends.
